I moved to Nashville in the Spring of 2008 with one goal in mind. Work in the music industry. I had spent the previous 6 years working in radio and it's safe to say my love of music was only getting stronger. Shortly after taking this love affair to Music City itself, I discovered there was a need. A need for up and coming artists to have someone help guide them in their musical adventure. At the time I was still figuring out my own path and endlessly searching for a career on music row. It wasn't until late 2015 where I ended my year long stint at a major record label that I finally decided it was time. I spoke with several bands and artists in town and when I saw the gleam of hope in their eye that some one was there to help them, Empathy Music was born.
Why empathy? Well, it's simple. I believe in working with the artist and being the "silent member of the band." I'm empathetic to their needs. I was not blessed with the talent to sing or play an instrument so I figure this is my way of being a part of the magic. Through Empathy Music, artists will be able to pass the torch on all their business projects so that they can focus on what really matters, the music.
Peace, love and empathy,
